I Have the Best Sister!

I've just got to brag a bit and give my sister her proper props!! I got a huge package in the mail last Friday. After my honey confirmed it wasn't from him, I opened it and was in complete shock and awe!!



Not only did Lisa research and find exactly what I wanted for my birthday (these two wall iron pieces), she rounded up cash from my family to pay for it. She's seriously THE BEST!! Thank You! Thank you to everyone who chipped in and especially thank you to Lisa who did all the work to make the day such a special one.



Back story: In August when we went to Canton, I showed Lisa these wall hangings I wanted for my birthday. I used much restraint and decided to wait until September. Well, to make a long sad story short, I couldn't go to Canton in September. I was really bummed out because this is all I wanted for my b-day and now I had to wait until October. (It's only 1 weekend a month).


Lisa to the rescue!! I was so surprised and excited. (Yes, jumping up and down screaming, the whole bit.) I waited until my actual birthday to hang them up. They're the perfect size, color, and decor I needed for that space. YOU ROCK LISA!!!

Happy Birthday.. I sure hope your week was awesome.. what great friends you have who gave you such fun things! AWESOME sister.. Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
