US Currency Facility

This week on our excursion with Rebecca's gang, we went to the US Currency Facility to see how money is made. It was fascinating! We learned all about the new generation bills and how they are currently designing the $100 bill. It's top secret.



The boys were really good, considering, and even got a play date out of it. ;) Good times.

Isn't that place so interesting? I went with my daughter's 3rd grade class last year. I actually had a great time. I even bought shredded money.

We went here last Monday! My tour was extra exciting..because my 2 year old kept wiggling out of my arms, and running down those big long hallways. Our tour guide had to stop the whole tour every time while I Chased him and captured him then brought him back. Everyone watched me jog, then speed up as he sped up then lunge and grab the little critter while he screamed and tried to get away again. It was the family circus show as usual. So stressful for me, but the kids had a blast.

I won't know if the design is different or not. I never see hundred dollar bills, so I don't even know what the old one looks like. lol

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
