Wet 'n Wild in Galveston

I'm running a bit behind in my posts...



Friday, we visited Gramma & Grandpa and played a little in Galveston.



We had a lot of fun at Schlitterbahn. The boys loved the torrent river the best. It's like a lazy river but with tidal waves.

Drake was getting a little sleepy - so I took him on the torrent river and he had a nice nap while we floated the river for over an hour. That's my kind of fun. {{wink}}



My favorite part was the funnel cake at the end. {{of course}}



Saturday we spent the day at Gramma & Grandpa's on the river.











Davis knee boarded for the 2nd time.



Dylan kneed boarded for the first time! It took some serious negotiating and finally threatening to get him on it. However, once he got going, he had a blast! We were so proud of him.





Look at that bust. Way to go Dylan, you did an amazing job!



Dylan has decided to collect Indiana Jones Lego's. This year will be the first year I'll know what to get him for his birthday. {{huge relief}}



Davis arm-wrestling his cousin. Hmmm - are you wondering who won?



It was a quick, but really fun weekend with our loved ones.

I am cracking up with the arm wrestling photo! I think we may take AJ down there to the water park after we get back from Oregon. (What happens if I fall asleep floating in the river and she doesn't? Can they arrest me for something like that?)

oh how fun, we were down in Galeveston this past christmas like three times, but it was really cold....too bad the slides were not opened back then! They look totally cool.

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends. But in reality a lot has changed: * Davis has braces * Davis is now medicated * Dylan has been diagnosed with ADHD and is now medicated {{a hit to my ego}} * Finished Mommy & Me gymnastics with Drake * Drake is talking a little * Drake is in a big boy bed - although still not sleeping through the night * Jason's going to school to get his MBA * Executive Homemaker which took over a year to design and 5 years as a concept is 15 months old and has 2,333 members and growing at a rate of 300+ new members every month. * Executive Homemaker's online store has grown from three to 26 Mom- prenuers ! * Tip Junkie is 11 months old * My house is a little prettier and more organized * My Dad is divorced * My brother Scott came home...
