In 2005 Lisa, Melissa (below), and I were in NYC celebrating my 30th birthday and saw Mama Mia on Broadway. I was pregnant with Drake.



Not being a musical enthusiast, I was hoping it wouldn't be a complete waste of money. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised and I really enjoyed it. Of course, who doesn't love Abba?

I'm convinced I could endure almost any play with great music in it. I can always just shut my eyes. {{ha!}}



So naturally we had to have a late night movie run to see the big screen version. Chanda brought her CD and we jammed to Abba tunes all the way there. We danced, laughed, and cheered all the way through the movie.

I hope the people sitting in front of us weren't too annoyed. {{oops}}

Chanda summed it up perfectly...

I went Saturday and saw the movie. I loved it. I would love to see the musical/play in New York.

I have heard great reports of this too, glad you have it a good one too, now I just need to see it. Gotta love Abba for sure!!!

I can't believe you saw it without me. It's a good thing I'm not sentimental, but it's a bad thing that I can hold a grudge...although I have a really bad memory so wait a few days until I forget.

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
