He's Back!

My man is back! Yep, Jason went on a man-cation to Alaska.



He went deep sea fishing with a bunch of guys and came home with many stories to tell and breath taking pictures.



He saw all kinds of wild life and had a run-in with a humpback whale who got too close for comfort.



He shipped home a mother load of fish! For him to cook, of course. ;)

Obviously, I missed him so much but I didn't realize how much until I picked him up from the airport and started crying in his arms. It felt so good to have him home and squeezing me tight.

My man is home and I now feel whole again. {{teary}}

Yeah! It always feels so good to have your family all together again.

I didn't know he was going to Alaska...that's where I grew up and my parents still live there. We'll be heading up for a visit later this month.

What a sweet post! It's good for one of the spouses to go away once in a while, so we can miss them and not take them for granted!

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
