Another One Bites The Dust

My sister and I have this thing where we assign certain songs to traumatic experiences in our lives. It just makes it easier for us to cope when we're laughing so hard we can't feel the pain. What do you think about his song, Lisa?

The news is my Dad filed for divorce from his wife of 2 years a couple days ago. I don't feel it's appropriate to go into details, but I feel lots of different emotions. My desire at this point, is that my Dad can learn from his experiences and not repeat them in the future.

Even though he doesn't read my blog, "I love you, Dad. I'm sorry you are going through such a difficult period in your life. I hope you eventually find happiness and peace. Lots of love and hugs."

Holy Crap!! I was laughing so hard that my cold sore was cracking and I had to fold my lip so it would stop hurting. That's perfect! I love the animation too. I was trying to decide who was Mom and who was Dee ;)

I am cracking up! I love your coping mechanism. My brother is on wife #4 at age 36, and I have little doubt this will make it either. Don't be shocked if you see this exact post on my blog in a few months (or years, who knows?)! LOL

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
