Happy Birthday to LeAnne!

Tuesday, I got a little break from Spring Break with the kiddos and had a double date lunch at Pei Wei with my man and another couple. It was spontaneous and such a delight to have adult conversation in the middle of the day.

That night I helped celebrate LeAnne's birthday. She's not only my hair dresser but a dear friend. She has the most contagious laugh and always has a good story to tell.

I was exhausted from the day entertaining the kids but was able to enjoy the evening and simply be grateful for good frienships. It got me thinking...

True friends to me are people that come into your life and you know right away that they are meant to be there; they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or help you figure out who you are and what is important in life. They help to build you up, never weigh you down. It's most important to reciprocate.

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
