Saturday we came home from lunch with Melissa and Lisa and our babysitter told us that Drake had unlocked the front door and walked out! A stranger found him and brought him back home. Ahhhhh!!



So today, I feel very blessed to still have my grumpy, Blue's Clues loving, insomniac. First thing on my list - Home Depot for more locks!

♥ That's so scarry!!! We've had to have locks on our doors forever! My twins figured it out really early too. I'm so glad that he was retured safe and sound.

Golly....he had angels watching out for him for sure! What a blessing to have good neighbors. I put up baby gates the little ones can't get past after I found my 7 mo old had crawled out into an open garage the other day. It's scary what they can do - our innocent little sweeties.

I have to set up an alarm system that beeps when any door or window opens just for that reason.

We also had to go buy one of those "hotel locks" to put up high on the door so my son wouldn't escape.

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends. But in reality a lot has changed: * Davis has braces * Davis is now medicated * Dylan has been diagnosed with ADHD and is now medicated {{a hit to my ego}} * Finished Mommy & Me gymnastics with Drake * Drake is talking a little * Drake is in a big boy bed - although still not sleeping through the night * Jason's going to school to get his MBA * Executive Homemaker which took over a year to design and 5 years as a concept is 15 months old and has 2,333 members and growing at a rate of 300+ new members every month. * Executive Homemaker's online store has grown from three to 26 Mom- prenuers ! * Tip Junkie is 11 months old * My house is a little prettier and more organized * My Dad is divorced * My brother Scott came home...
