No More Unibrow

Thanks to Julianne, I've found a "Threader" to do my eyebrows. I usually get them waxed every 6 weeks when I go to get my hair done but lately that hasn't worked out very well. So, I've been sporting a unibrow for a while now.



Just in case you haven't heard of threading before: Threading is more precise and the hair grows back thinner and slower. There is no burning, peeling or irritation, and is good for getting rid of in-grown hairs.



Now my brows are perfectly shaped and trimmed. Life is good. Have you had your brows threaded?

Nice brows! I used to get mine waxed, but plucking is cheaper. Unfortunatley I have to pluck like once a week to avoid my unibrow!

I've never heard of this, but I need some SERIOUS eyebrow intervention (mine are totally out of control). Yours look awesome!!!

I've never heard of threading. It looks cool, and I'm up for any sort of eyebrow upkeep that doesn't hurt!!! Your brows look great, but then again, I didn't think you were sporting a uni in any of your pictures. Unless, you have been showing us old pictures cuz you've been too embarrased to expose the unibrow! J/K. You look great! Have a great time in Utah!

love your brows! ya know me, i get into brows. i did laser and that was awesome, but needed to go back for more treatments. i want to try the threader. i also have "stencils" by sephora that are great for shaping. also, have you heard of jan marini eye lash conditioner? it is awesome. it helps the eyelashes grow!
have fun in utah. i might be mad at you for awhile for not coming to az!

I have heard of threading to raise a low hairline, but not for brows, very cool!

The greek in me commands constant plucking. I pluck each day with makeup application, get one or two at a time... threading sounds better.

So you made, it huh? I've been so busy, I finally just got them waxed a couple of weeks ago and even now they look nasty. I really need to get in when I am finished with Enrichment and my life is my own again.

Di - It's my turn to go to Utah. Melissa met me in NYC for my birthday, I went that summer to see her(after seeing you), Then Melissa flew down here when she was preggers. So it's my turn to go see her and the baby.

You're cracking me up with all your campaining. Although, it's not working. ;) Let's focus on something fun, like where's our next couples trip going to be?

I've heard of threading, but have never tried it. I try to get them waxed every few weeks, but, OUCH! Good to hear that threading is kinder. Your brows look GREAT!!

I had to laugh! So funny. I wonder where they came up with this idea becuase when my sister-in-law was in jail a year ago the girls would all go crazy not having there make up and ways to groom themselves. And they had all the time in the world, so they would take hair off their head and wrap it around the eye brow hair they wanted removed and yank it that way! She told me she loved it and that it seemed to last longer--- ha ha well... now we know!

I used to get my eyebrows threaded when I lived in SLC. Now it's too far of a drive. It is fabulous though.

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
