I'm Thankful For...

I had fully intended on doing this last Friday but all of a sudden it was Monday! oops. ;)

Friday Fill-In #46

1. The things I give thanks for this Thanksgiving are an eternal family, good health, and fabulous friends.
2. My Thanksgiving traditions include a fun kiddie dessert like this one, a craft with my boys like The Tablecloth, and a Gratitude Tree.
3. The best part about Thanksgiving is the food.
4. My favorite Thanksgiving food is pumpkin pie.
5. ______ was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me on Thanksgiving. (I block out everything bad and embarrassing. ha ha. I really have no idea, Davis probably broke something valuable at someones house. ;)
6. After the meal, I clean up. {{bummer}}
7. Tonight I'm looking forward to organizing my house top to bottom getting ready for company, tomorrow my plans include buying new sheets for my guest bed and Wednesday, I want to take my family to the Dallas Aquarium!

Hi Laurie! Tell your caramel apple friend to use Wilton Caramel Apple dip. It is thick and sticks to the apple. You still get a small amount that moves to the top of the apple, when you tip it upside down, but gravity cannot be controlled. This is the best I've found for sure. Just be sure to refrigerate each one as soon as possible after it is dipped. Hope this helps!!

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends. But in reality a lot has changed: * Davis has braces * Davis is now medicated * Dylan has been diagnosed with ADHD and is now medicated {{a hit to my ego}} * Finished Mommy & Me gymnastics with Drake * Drake is talking a little * Drake is in a big boy bed - although still not sleeping through the night * Jason's going to school to get his MBA * Executive Homemaker which took over a year to design and 5 years as a concept is 15 months old and has 2,333 members and growing at a rate of 300+ new members every month. * Executive Homemaker's online store has grown from three to 26 Mom- prenuers ! * Tip Junkie is 11 months old * My house is a little prettier and more organized * My Dad is divorced * My brother Scott came home...
