What a Weekend

It's been a fun filled family weekend. Friday after school we went to the school's fall festival. We all had a great time!



Drake discovered cotton candy. ;) One of my personal favs.



Saturday morning, I went to Katri's Super Saturday and had the best time! She came up with some amazing crafts. They were so easy and fun to make. You'll have to check out her blog to see everything. Yeah!



Saturday brought baseball games and then lots of yard work. We had some mulch delivered and I pruned a bunch of plants. Finally my yard is back in shape. Yeah!

fall festival FUN!!!!! Great pictures.
We really need to work on our yard. This week has been so windy. My back yard is coverd with leaves everywhere.

Fall is the best! So many fun things to do! Don't you love it when your yard looks GREAT?!! I can't wait to have our yard put in in a few more months!

Hey - I never told ya that Katri is in my Mom's ward...we figured this out when she was coming up with ideas for Super Saturday and showed the presidency (she's the secretary) some of the cards from our card swap that I had. And Katri saw them and was like, Hey - these are my friends cards! Where'd you get them?" Funny, huh?!?

My mom was at the Super Saturday teaching the knitting class.

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends. But in reality a lot has changed: * Davis has braces * Davis is now medicated * Dylan has been diagnosed with ADHD and is now medicated {{a hit to my ego}} * Finished Mommy & Me gymnastics with Drake * Drake is talking a little * Drake is in a big boy bed - although still not sleeping through the night * Jason's going to school to get his MBA * Executive Homemaker which took over a year to design and 5 years as a concept is 15 months old and has 2,333 members and growing at a rate of 300+ new members every month. * Executive Homemaker's online store has grown from three to 26 Mom- prenuers ! * Tip Junkie is 11 months old * My house is a little prettier and more organized * My Dad is divorced * My brother Scott came home...
