Gotta love a rainy summer where you can't go outside or to the pool to get out all that engergy. Love and Logic Tip #10 - When to Step In/When to Stay Out of Kids' Problems. Davis chose to dump out all his Legos and Bionicle bins. Can you guess what I chose to do?



Unlike Mom, Drake decided he would help pick up.



All this fuss for this boat. It's a pretty cool boat, I hope it was worth it. "Rain, Rain, Go Away! Give us Texan mom's a break today!"

If I weren't leaving this weekend (for 3 weeks!), I'd start cracking up. Ok, I already have.

Who would have thought that we would be escaping the RAIN in Texas and not the heat in July? UGH!

That is almost exactly what my boy's room looks like.

I am a little sick of the rain, but I have to say it is nice that it is not 105 degrees.

My sister Stephanie has a link to your blog and I absolutely love it! I appreciated this picture you put on the blog. It's an all too familiar scene at my house, but to know our "tip junkie" with the "executive homemaker" site would also tolerate such a scene (for a little while anyway) is quite refreshing! Thanks for your honesty and great info. You make me love being a 41 yr. old stay-home-mom of four!

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends. But in reality a lot has changed: * Davis has braces * Davis is now medicated * Dylan has been diagnosed with ADHD and is now medicated {{a hit to my ego}} * Finished Mommy & Me gymnastics with Drake * Drake is talking a little * Drake is in a big boy bed - although still not sleeping through the night * Jason's going to school to get his MBA * Executive Homemaker which took over a year to design and 5 years as a concept is 15 months old and has 2,333 members and growing at a rate of 300+ new members every month. * Executive Homemaker's online store has grown from three to 26 Mom- prenuers ! * Tip Junkie is 11 months old * My house is a little prettier and more organized * My Dad is divorced * My brother Scott came home...
