Today I was surrounded by elegant beauty! Rochelle completely out did herself and hosted book club in her backyard today. You can read more about it and see more pictures on Rochelle's Blog. Seriously, it was so breathtaking that when I sat down I didn't want to eat. I just wanted to sit there and take in all the "girly beauty". (I've been around blue, rockets, bugs, and sports too long.) I couldn't believe all the love that Rochelle put into the afternoon. It was truly amazing! I really need it.



To top it off, each setting had a little floral sprig with a quote from the book, which we got to take home! Everyone read their quote out loud and agreed that each quote fit us perfectly. My quote was, "It's so easy to be wicked without knowing it, isn't it?" I'll let you be the judge if that fits me. ;-} (However, I don't think I've shown that side to you yet. he he)

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
