Last year the boys and I started {quite accidentally} a tradition of going to Toys R Us and letting them take pictures of their Christmas wish lists.

I think it's so much fun seeing how the boys pictures turn out and what they end up asking for from Santa. {Neither of whom believe anymore but they play along.}

I used to do an e-mail wish list and every November I would e-mail all the grandparents what they wanted.  I have become a lot less obsessive compulsive and now just post their pictures in hopes of making their shopping trip a little easier.

You see, we have 7 sets of grandparents!  So they end up getting a lot of gift cards but they'd rather get a toy.  It's so cute because they remember for years later who bought them each toy. It's actually quite adorable that they put so much love into the toys they receive as gifts from their grandparents.

You might have noticed that there aren't any pictures of what Drake wants.  Um, yeah.  We're still working on that.  At this point, anything with a blue or black cape will be just great.  {{giggle}}

ha ha i do that too! but for my hubby, because he is kind of a noob when it comes to the little things (i like to open a couple of small things in addition to the latest gadget that he thinks i need)...

I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one who takes pictures for the wish list. People look at me funny when I'm in the store taking pictures of my kids holding toys...

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends. But in reality a lot has changed: * Davis has braces * Davis is now medicated * Dylan has been diagnosed with ADHD and is now medicated {{a hit to my ego}} * Finished Mommy & Me gymnastics with Drake * Drake is talking a little * Drake is in a big boy bed - although still not sleeping through the night * Jason's going to school to get his MBA * Executive Homemaker which took over a year to design and 5 years as a concept is 15 months old and has 2,333 members and growing at a rate of 300+ new members every month. * Executive Homemaker's online store has grown from three to 26 Mom- prenuers ! * Tip Junkie is 11 months old * My house is a little prettier and more organized * My Dad is divorced * My brother Scott came home...
