My Home for Halloween

We're having a Virtual Tour of Homes over on Tip Junkie and showing off our fall decor.



Its fall and time to get the house ready for the new season! This is my front porch.



On the first day of October we filled up our Halloween Countdown Calendar with candy and started getting excited for my favorite holiday.



My son had an Indiana Jones birthday last year, so my Halloween decorations are more creepy this year as I've used many of his party decor.

You can't tell in this picture, but I taped several plastic spiders on the decor to make it more creepy for Halloween.



My boys LOVE these large spiders crawling down the iron banister.



The boys and I made these beaded pumpkins together one year and we relive the moment every time we tape them up.


Nook in study



My darling blogging friend Mique made me this BOO banner and I remember her every time I hang it up. I just LOVE my iron pumpkins.

my tykes love having the house decorating for the holidays too, as do i since my mom did the same when i was growing up and i love to keep the tradition going in my own family!
your boys are getting sooo big! they look great and happy, you are such a fun mom!

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends. But in reality a lot has changed: * Davis has braces * Davis is now medicated * Dylan has been diagnosed with ADHD and is now medicated {{a hit to my ego}} * Finished Mommy & Me gymnastics with Drake * Drake is talking a little * Drake is in a big boy bed - although still not sleeping through the night * Jason's going to school to get his MBA * Executive Homemaker which took over a year to design and 5 years as a concept is 15 months old and has 2,333 members and growing at a rate of 300+ new members every month. * Executive Homemaker's online store has grown from three to 26 Mom- prenuers ! * Tip Junkie is 11 months old * My house is a little prettier and more organized * My Dad is divorced * My brother Scott came home...
