Burgers Lake

This week, Rebecca arranged for us to go to Burgers Lake with the kiddos. Even though it was a little pricey and smaller than we thought, the kids never ran out of things to do!


The boys loved the large trapeze!

It had a sandy bottom which was fun and Drake absolutely loved it! Of course, I couldn't convince him to play at the beach, so I could sit and chat. So we made our rounds and jumped off the little kids diving board, ran around, and mostly floated.

Jenni came too and it was wonderful reunion for the boys. Our boys have such a beautiful bond. Thanks Rebecca for planning our day we had an amazing time!!

okay we need fun things like that here in arizona. i am green with envy all these water things you get to do. you know how much i love to jet ski and do anything in the water! that lake looks like a blast!

WOW! I use to go there when I was growing up - and I haven't thought of it since. Nice to know it's still there and looks just as fun!!

Hi Laurie. You don't know me, but I found your blog through a friend of mine and I just wanted to introduce myself. (Tired of feeling like a blog-stalker!) Your dining room is beautiful. I don't have a formal dining area, but my kitchen/dining/greatroom, is 'Tavern Taupe'. Burgers Lake looks like such a great place!!

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
