Nerf Wars - Bring It!

My youngest brother Scott came to visit us for a few days. He just finished up his semester at college and was leaving for Louisiana the following week and wanted to check in.


I woke up to a massive Nerf war going on upstairs.


I don't think Scott knew what he was in for when he started shooting Davis. This one is not playin' around with his sniper semi-automatic.


It was such a fun morning and the boys totally bonded with my brother. It was a nice change of pace and it was great to reconnect with him.

We now have several more inside jokes to entertain us. {{bwaaahaa!}}

Craft Closet Make Over

I've finally done it. After 2 years of living in this house, I've finally finished organizing the last closet in my home. This is the guest room closet that doubles as my "craft" closet. You could barely consider it a walk-in closet, but with 2 new shelves my man built for me over the weekend, it's got just enough space for what I need. Closet Before Closet Before - complete chaos ! After - view from hall (I used a different camera because mine is still broken. It was so hard to get these pics the space is so small. I hope you can get the idea.) Small shelf with hanging space for guests clothes - just above the door that goes to the attic. I spray painted 2 of these tins pink and glued flowers onto the other 3. Top Shelf Middle, 2 new shelves that Jason made and I painted white. I added these "curtains" to cover the other white bins and to make the space less messy. 1 Year Blogiversary

I can't believe it, as of Tuesday, I have been blogging for one year! On the outside not much has changed: I have 3 boys, live in the same house, my man has the same job, and I still go to Mavens, book club, and dinner club with the same fab friends.
